Categories & Nominees
Each year the DJ Awards team works together with a panel of electronic dance music finest; from managers, promoters, venue owners, media moguls, record companies, music PR companies and of course the DJs themselves to help compile the list of categories & nominees.

It’s an unenviable task, a complicated business, especially today where DJ's known over the years for one defining music style, now are multi-tasking to an extent that most DJ´s can fit into at least 2 or 3 different genres.

We can't say that everyone will agree with us, its subjectivity at its best. However if our list of nominees brings about some healthy debate, then bring it on; this is afterall the nature of the beast!
