Diop Jr, whose full name is Cheikh Diop Thiam Junior, is an artist born on December 15, 1996 in Dakar, capital of Senegal. With his first music video "Comer Sano Suena Bien" (Eating Healthy Sounds Good), which has been awarded in the category of University in the "Sevilla Youth Awards" of the Andalusian Government, Diop Jr became the first artist to receive the prize "Best Original Idea "Of the University of Seville.

Born in Dakar, the capital of Senegal, Diop Jr lived in Senegal until he was 13 years old before his parents took him to Spain, because his father also has Spanish nationality. Son of the famous "Miss Djongoma 99", Diabou Thiam Diop, Diop Jr will not surprise anyone if he becomes a famous person.

The stage name Diop Jr comes from the name of his namesake Cheikh Thiam Diop who is the eldest brother of his father, Elhadji Magueye Diop.

Diop Jr said in an interview with "Los40 España", the most popular radio in Spain and Latin America, that his goal is to continue to claim a healthy lifestyle through rap and that is what distinguishes him from other rappers.

Diop Jr was raised in Dakar and has always been among the best students in his school and before leaving Senegal to live with his parents in Spain, he was received along with other students by the President of Senegal, Abdoulaye Wade. He spent much of his childhood in Senegal and at the age of 13, he moved to Seville. Diop Jr speaks Spanish, French, English, Wolof and can read and write in Arabic.

Diop Jr is a young football fan from an early age, having tried on a Spanish third division team called "CD Alcalá" at the age of only 16, he stopped playing football after having an accident, but he plans to play again in the future.

As for his date of birth, Diop Jr declares that several media have postponed incorrect dates, however, according to "El País", the newspaper with the largest circulation in Spain, Diop Jr was born on December 15, 1996.

Before being a university student, Diop Jr finished both ESO (Compulsory Secondary Education) and Bachillerato (Baccalaureate) in Spain with the overall qualification of Honors in both, being nominated in the "Extraordinary High School Awards" by the Andalusian Government and awarded by the area of sport, education, culture and youth of the City council of Seville for his academic and personal trajectory. His passion for studies had made him an English, Spanish and French teacher in a small academy in his neighborhood called "Effort2014".

Diop Jr est élevé à Dakar et il a été toujours parmi les meilleurs élèves de sa classe et avant de quitter le Sénégal pour rejoindre ses parents en Espagne, il a été reçu avec d'autres bons élèves par le Président Maître Abdoulaye Wade. Il a vécu une grande partie de son enfance au Sénégal. À l'âge de 13 ans, il part du Sénégal pour s'installer en Espagne, à Séville dans l'Andalousie. Il parle espagnol, français, anglais, wolof et un peu l'arabe qu'il sait lire et écrire seulement.

Diop Jr est un jeune sénégalais passionné de football depuis le bas âge, ayant évolué dans une équipe de 3ième division espagnole appelée "CD Alcalá" à l'âge de 16 ans seulement, il laissa de jouer au foot, après avoir eu un accident un peu grâve, mais il pense à revenir dans le futur.

En ce qui concerne sa date de naissance, Diop Jr déclare que plusieurs medias ont reporté des dates incorrectes, cependant selon "El País", le journal le plus largement diffusé en Espagne, il est né le 15 décembre 1996.

Avant d'être étudiant universitaire, Diop Jr a obtenu son BFEM et son BAC en Espagne avec des mentions très bien, il a été nominé pour les «Prix Extraordinaires de Baccalauréat» par le Gouvernement de l'Andalousie et de l'Espagne et décerné par la Mairie de Séville par «sa carrière académique et personnelle». Sa passion pour les études avait fait de lui un professeur d’anglais, d’espagnol et de français dans une petite académie de son quartier qui s´appelle "Effort2014".

Loin du foot et des études qu'il ne laissera jamais, Diop Jr est actuellement entrain de préparer d'autres oeuvres musicales. Ce jeune optimiste qui aime beaucoup motiver les gens à travailler et à avoir un esprit de gagne, s'est offert aussi un bon public dans l'univers.
